What is Subnet 2 (Omron)?

Subnet 2, developed by Inference Labs, is building cryptographically verified efficient and intelligent capital networks. Consisting of both a Bittensor subnet and an Ethereum deployment, SN2 enables users to deposit Liquid Staking Tokens (LST) on Ethereum, in exchange for a restaking token and points. This restaking token, which bears rewards, offers users the flexibility to use their assets across different EVM ecosystems. Additionally, it supplies verified machine learning data, aiding in the development of the most advanced multipurpose LST strategy model.

What does it do?

On Ethereum, users deposit LRT tokens, and receive a number of points for every token deposited over time. These deposits reflect a shared belief that intelligent, verifiable, decentralized captial networks are a desired future in the realm of staking and restaking technology. On Bittensor Subnet 2, Omron is incentivizing miners to run small but performant models that provide proven and high quality predictions with regard to staking and restaking protocols. The inherent game theory introduced by the Bittensor subnet will not only improve models over time but also reward succinct and verifiable models with the quickest proof generation times. Long term goals is Proof-of-Inference is available across all Bittensor subnets where outputs can optionally be supplied with zero-knowledge proofs.

Why use it?

Participate in the SN2 ecosystem to accumulate staking rewards and points, help provide data to train powerful restaking strategy AI models, and use our proprietary AI models to allocate assets with improved efficiency. Validators are Miners of Bittensor are also awarded Omron points by participating is in the Subnet. This introduces an external feedback loop and incentive system to additionally incentivize succinct, zero-knowledge circuitized model creation.

What is the goal of Subnet 2?

The goal of Subnet 2 is to democratize the ability for Decentralized AI to access the ability for Inference verification across all networks.

How to update Miner/Validator clients?

Both miner and validator software contain a built-in automatic update tool which periodically checks for updates. If a new version is available, it will be automatically installed.

What are Omron Points?

Omron Points accumulate in your account while Staking and/or Mining or Validating, and are a reflection of value contributed and time it has been contributed for.

When will additional AI models be launched on Subnet 2?

Data is currently being collected to provide additional AI Models to the subnet. This is an area we are actively working to expand beyond Liquid Restaking.

Which tokens are currently supported?

Rewards:

How to withdraw?

The option to withdraw deposits will be integrated into Omron via an upgrade process conducted at a later point in time.

What are the risks of using Omron?

It's crucial to understand that Omron.ai is presently in its initial early launch phase, and it's EVM smart contracts have undergone auditing. While the Omron smart contracts have been rigorously reviewed, it's important to remember that they also rely on the smart contracts of the underlying Liquid Staking Token providers. It is important to review the LST provider terms to understand the risks associated.
